The State Aug 29. 1961 C.M. Walling MARION---(Special)--Charlie McCoy Walling, 63, retired auto mechanic of Route 2, Marion, died Thursday evening in a Marion Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Orangeburg County, son of the late Lawrence H. and Mary Hutto Walling, and was married to the former Mary Williams who survives. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev. W.H. Oellerich. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary W.Walling of Marion; one son Henry M. Walling of Fort Lewis, Wash.; three daughter, Mrs. Pearleen Lane of Marion, Mrs. Betty Jean Drew of Beaufort, and Mrs. Louise Shand of Detroit, Mich., one brother, E.T. Walling of Orangeburg,; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Antley of Cope, and Mrs. Lila Stillinger of Neeses; eight grandchildren; three half sisters, Mrs. J. H. Varnes, Mrs. Rosa lee Davis, and Mrs. Annabelle Hutto all of Norway, and two half brothers, Ernest Walling of Orangeburg, and Benny Walling of Norway
