Mrs. Martin E. Johnson, 72, a longtime resident near Big Springs, Union county, S.D., died suddenly July 22 at her farm home.

Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Johnson of Big Springs; a son, Lloyd R. of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Christine. Erickson of Princeton, Minn., and two grandsons.

Funeral services Sunday afternoon in Union Creek Lutheran church and interment in the church cemetery.
