Mattie Adams, 94, Cynthiana, died at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 in Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. Born Nov. 27, 1891 in Ross County, she was the daughter of Charles and Ella Clark McDonald. Her first husband, Joseph Chaffin, preceded her in death in 1931, and her second husband, Ike Adams, died in 1958.
She is survived by a grandson David Chaffin; a granddaughter, Karen Chaffin, and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Glen. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Cynthiana Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Services were entrusted to Smith-Moore Funeral Home of Bainbridge, Ohio.
