"Mrs. John Al Hubbard, 824 A St., passed away Saturday morning, January 13.
Before her marriage Mrs. Hubbard was Jennie Annette. She was born in South Framingham, Mass., October 5, 1848, being 74 years, three months and eight days old, at the time of her death.
The family later moved to Spencer Ia., where on February 6, 1873, she became the wife of John A. Hubbard, who survives her.
The family moved to Grants Pass in 1887, where hey have lived most of the years since.
Mrs. Hubbard was a member of the Baptist church, which she faithfully attended as long as her health permitted.
Two grand children, Hubbard Day of this city and Mrs. Albert W. Paddock of Portland, and one brother, W. C. Annett, of Boise, Idaho, survive her.
In former days she often visited her neighbors, and was always a lover of beautiful flowers and took delight in raising them, also in doing beautiful crochet work.
Since being confined to her home her friends have been very thoughtful in keeping her well supplied with flowers."
