Just 2 Months Old
On Feb. 15th, little Michael R. Hall was born at the Medical Center in Columbus. He died on April 22nd, making his stay on earth only two months and eight days.
At the age of five weeks he was rushed to the Medical Center at Columbus in a serious condition. There he stayed for a week under going treatment.
On March 31st, Little Mickey, as he was called by those who knew and lived him, was taken to the Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta by ambulance for further studies and tests. On April 7th he entered Emory University Hospital where he underwent two major operations in efforts to save his life. Mickey had suffered congestive Heart ailment since birth;. He died in Emory University hospital immediately after the operation.
He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Hall, Jr. Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn his death his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.E Weed of Mauk and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Hall Sr., of Butler. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral took place at Pine Level Methodist church at 3 p.m. April 23. Rev. Clyde Lancaster of Loganville officiated.
Edwards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Jerryu Turner and Judson Montgomery were assistants to Mr. Edwards.
