Howard F. Gable, 74, of Terre Haute, died early Monday at the Union hospital in Terre Haute. Mr. Gable was a son of John Gable and was related to many families in this community. Attending the funeral, which was held in Central Christian church, Terre Haute, Wednesday afternoon, were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gable, Mrs. L. G. Clendenning, Elmer Gable and Eden Gable, all of Mulberry, and Dr. H. B. Gable of Monticello. All were cousins of the deceased.

Mr. Gable was employed for forty-six years as chemist at the Bindley Wholesale Drug Company, Terre Haute, and was prominent in church, fraternal and business circles. He is survived by the widow, two sisters, Mrs. Eva Buchanan and Mrs. Jerry Hower, Danielsville, Pa., and a brother, Hubert, of Walnutport, Pa.
