Dorothy C Conrad Pennington Bailey
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1pm from the Eldon V Mohney Funeral Chapel for Dorothy Bailey, 67, resident of Rockton, PA, who died Saturday at 8pm at the home of her son, Richard Pennington in Pottstown, PA.
The Rev Clinton E Chu will officate. Burial follows in Rockton Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral chapel after 7pm this evening.
Mrs Bailey was born in Rockton April 20, 1905, daughter of George W and Ada Wilson Conrad. She was married to Cecil W Bailey. He preceded her in death January, 1972.
She was a life member of St John's Lutheran Church and a 25 year member of Home Camp Grange 1222.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Pennington, Pottstown, PA; Gordon Pennington, Rockton, PA; a stepdaughter, Mrs Vernon (Vaughn) Shaffer, Rockton, PA; five stepsons, Ray Bailey, Rockton, PA; Bruce Bailey, Montana; Grant Bailey, Oklahoma; Ferman Bailey, NY State; John Bailey, Clearfield, PA; 20 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Louis (Pearl) Stine, DuBois, PA; and two brothers, Lee and Donald Conrad of Rockton, PA.
