PAWNEE - Beulah Parker Kimbro, 82, of Pawnee died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at St. John's Hospice.

She was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Coffeen, the daughter of Ernest and Eva Harvey Elmore.

She married Joseph Parker, Jr. on Sept. 11, 1942; he preceded her in death on June 13, 1976. She later married Euris Kimbro on Oct. 28, 1978; he preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1989. She also was preceded by eight siblings.

Beulah was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Auburn.

She worked on the first heart surgery team in Springfield for Dr. Robert Harp and Dr. Paul Smalley.

She is survived by a son, Joe (wife, Lynn) Parker of Pawnee; a daughter, Linda (husband, Bill) Taylor of Bethany; a brother, Kenneth (wife, Virginia) Elmore of Waggoner; three stepchildren, George (wife, Cherril) Kimbro of Waggoner, David (wife, Judy) Kimbro of Metamora and Jennifer (husband, Paul) Hendricks of Divernon; five grandchildren, Jennifer Bone, Todd Taylor, Justin Parker, Jonas Parker and Katie Parker; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, with the Rev. Richard R. Harre officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or St. John's Hospice.

Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
