NORTON, Kan. -- Harold L. Cook, 61, died Monday (Oct. 13, 2008) at his home in Norton, Kan.

He was born July 9, 1947, in Manning, Kan., to Wade and Grace (Wilken) Cook He attended Decatur Community High School and graduated in 1967.

He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam. After his discharge from the army, he worked as an electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Grace Cook and brother, Merlin Cook.

Survivors include his two sisters, Jeanette Miller of Oberlin and Connie Quador and husband, Ed of Pueblo West, Colo., and a sister-in-law, Vickie Cook of McCook.

Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m., in the Oberlin Cemetery with the Rev. James Jennings officiating.

Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Friday from 8-10 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin.

Memorials may be given to the Disabled Veterans of America.
