Wilson— at the residence of her son, Geo. E. Wilson, in this city, on Monday morning, April 15, at 2 o'clock, Mrs. Elizabeth E. Wilson, aged 66 years.
It was our fortune to have been well acquainted with Mrs. Wilson before the sad affliction which ended in her death befell her, and a more estimable lady we never knew. since the death of her husband in Des Moines, a year ago, she has gradually failed in health, and although her death was known to be but a question of a short time, it was still none the less a severe affliction to those she left behind her, when it did occur. All our heartfelt sympathies go out to our friends, George and his good wife, whose measure of affliction and bereavement has been filled to overflowing in the past five years. They have followed to their last resting place during that time, two daughters, a father, mother, and a brother, but there is one great consolation for them in knowing that "The Lord chasteneth whom he loveth."
