OBIT - "Mrs. Levicia Montgomery, a resident of the Stayton, Ore. area since 1939, died Sunday afternoon, January 8. She had been confined to a bed for several years at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert McCall. She was born March 9, 1847 [1874] in Gravelly. She and her husband, Dr. Thomas Montgomery who survives her, would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary February 23.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three of her six children: Lyle Montgomery, Cottage Grove; Mrs. Syble Brumley, Dripping Springs, Texas; and Harold Montgomery, Bluffton; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
