Ervin Lee Andresen, 73, 5911 Eastview Ave SW died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness.

Ervin was born July 16, 1934 in Elberon the son of Harry and Clara Homire Andresen. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Stone on December 17, 1966 in Belle Plaine.

Ervin was a graduate of Keystone High School and served in the Naval Reserves in 1953. He was owner and operator of Andresen Trucking, and he also farmed. In 1965 he worked for Linkbelt-FMC in the shipping department until 1986. In 1988 until 1991 he worked at Rockwell Goss. In September of 1990 he quit farming. He worked for Cedar Rapids, Inc. from 1993 to 2000 and then worked part-time for the Johnson Ave. HyVee from 2002 to 2007.

He was a 40+ year member of the Keystone Turners and he enjoyed his many friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 41 years Marjorie are two sons, Randy Sue Andresen of Omaha, NE and Steve Andresen of Scottsdale, AZ; and two grandchildren, Kelli Bensalah Andy and Seth Andresen.

He is also survived by his very "special" nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Calvin and Marlyn Wayne; and his infant grandson, Heath.

Services: 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. William Harnish will officiate.
