George and Anna Marie Keller came to this country from Germany sometime between 1840 and 1843. They were married about 1836 in Germany. They had seven children, the first two born in Germany.

The family started off in Pennsylvania, where George was a miner. Later they moved to Scioto County, Ohio where they began farming. By 1880 they had moved to Livingston County, Missouri where some of their children had settled. They continued to farm.
