The Funeral Of Harold J. Tribley

PONTIAC - The Funeral Of Harold J. Tribley, 79, of 763 N. Main St., Pontiac, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, the Rev. Judith Wascher officiating. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Sunday at the church. Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, has charge of arrangements. He died at 1:52 p.m. Monday (March 10, 1997) at Columbia Medical Center Osceola, Kissimmee, Fla. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, . . . ; one son, . . . ; three daughters, . . . ; and one brother, Gilbert Tribley, Kerrville, Texas.

Also surviving are three sons-in-law, . . . ; one daughter-in-law,. . . ; 10 grandchildren, . . . ; and two great-grandchildren, . . . .

His parents, one brother and one granddaughter, Dana Thompson, preceded him in death.

He was born July 31, 1917, in Pleasant Ridge Township, a son of Job and Bernice (Melvin) Tribley. He married . . . March 12, 1943, in Pontiac.

Mr. Tribley was associated with Morton Printing and Lithographing Co. until his retirement in 1982.

He was a 1937 graduate of Fairbury High School and Maumee School of Printing in Ohio.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church and a past member of the church council. He was a past member of Pontiac Township High School Board of Education, Humiston Haven Board, Pontiac Credit Bureau and Elks Club. Following his retirement he was an avid gardener, golfer and fisherman.
