Mary Jane Rothrock was the third of five known children of Abraham Rothrock (1825-1877) and Nancy Jane Lang Rothrock (1820-1879), who married 04 Feb 1844 at Crawford County, Indiana.
Mary married her second cousin, William Clark Lynch (1843-1924) on 30 Mar 1865 at Harrison County, Indiana. Mary and William were the parents of four known children, namely:
1. John A. Lynch (1866-1958)
2. Cordelia M. Lynch Luckett (1869-1955)
3. Eunice Lynch Varner Nearon (1871-1943)
4. Nellie B. Lynch Brown (1884-1961)
