Catherine E Clouse, 94, died Tuesday Aug 16, 1988 at Mout Carmel Home. Burial was Saturday Aug 20, 1988. Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Eddyville. Mrs. Sam O'Neill accompanied on the organ while Sam O'Neill and Francis Mctygue led in singing. Francis Mctygue led in the readings. Paullbeareres were grandsons Kevin Weides, Grand Island, Pete Clouse, Lincoln, Jerry Calhoun, Omaha, Bill Stauffer, Elm Creek, Shawn Clouse, Columbus and Dennis Clouse, Kearney.
Catherine Clouse was born Nov.6 1894, on a farm in York County, to John and Anna Neville. She attended Eddyville Public School and worked as a clerk in a mercantile store there.
Kate married Reuben L. Clouse at Eddyville July 21, 1920. They had three sons and five dauaghters.
Mrs. Clouse was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church Kearney, Eddyville Garden Club and the Royal Neighbors of America.
