Orville C. Jinks, 77 of Mason died 7:29 pm Wednesday in Monroe Memorial hospital in Ocala, Florida, where he had been visiting his daughter. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Sunday in the Christian church,Mason. Friends may call after 1 pm Saturday in Pagel funeral home,Edgewood and from noon until service time Sunday at the christian chruch. Burial will be in Edgewood cemetery.
Mr.Jinks was born in Edgewood. He married Dorothy Landreth Jan. 12, 1920, in Effingham. A retired Illinois Central railroad employe, he had served on the Mason Village board and the board of directors of the Mason Civic center. He was a member of the Mason Christian church and Mason Lodge,217, AF&AM.
Surviving are his wife,sons,Orville,Jr. of Indianapolis,Ind.,Dale of Champaign,daughters,Mrs.Wilma Rose of Champaign, Mrs. Margie Goddard of Eustis,Fla, brother Russell of Edgewood, sister, Mrs. Opal Kinney of Calif.,12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
