Oma was the daughter of Jessie F. & Ella J. (Hahn) Barringer. She married Frank Wadsworth Foil and they were the parents of one son Edmond 'Eddie' Barringer.

MT. PLEASANT -- Mrs. Oma Barringer Foil, age 86, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at Brian Center of Salisbury.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 24, 2002 at 11:00am at Gordon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. John Bigelow, burial will follow at the St. James United Church of Christ Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. The Foil family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45am prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Foil was born October 19, 1915 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Jessie F. Foil and Ella Hahn Foil. She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ. She was employed by the Concord Telephone Company until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Foil and a brother Ralph Barringer.
Mrs. Foil is survived by a son Eddie B. Foil and wife Nina of Charlotte, brother, Herman Barringer, three grandchildren, David Foil, Darrin Foil, and Kathy Morris, great grandchildren, Rebecca Morris, Emily Morris and Alexandria Foil.
