The Cherokee Sentinel, Friday, March 29, 1912, page 2:
Little Leonard Mock Dead
Little Leonard Mock, the four year old son of Wm. Mock, Jr., died on last Wednesday* after quite a long illness. He had went through a spell of measles, then took pneumonia which took him away.
He was their only child, a bright little fellow.
They buried his little body in our city cemetery on Thursday.
* He may have died on March 20, as the newspaper at that time sometimes used the term "last Wednesday" to mean the week before the past one.
