She was born near Mannebach, Germany on February 18,1799 and was married to Joannis Bender on April 20, 1818 in Beltheim, Germany. He was born on September 26, 1783 in Frankweiler, Germany and died November 25, 1849, buried in Mannabach, Germany. She then came to America in April 1857 with her son Peter Bender (Joannes Petrus Bender) and his family who Settled in Henry, Illinois where she is buried. The gravestone indicates she was born in 1798, but German records shows she was born in 1799. rest in peace
Note: Her parents were (Nicolai) Nikolaus Licht and Anna Marie Pies. Nicolai parents were Johan Licht & Christian Becker. Anna Marie Pies parents were Michael Pies and Marie Agnes Pies
