Realize the headstone inscription says "dec'd Sum time in April 1729." However, he wrote is will on 16 Jun 1730 and it was proved 22 May 1731. These dates are supported by various references including the Mayflower Silver Book for Stephen Hopkins and the actual probate record, #16957, which contains copies of his will naming his wife, Hannah, and three of his children - Eleazer, Elizabeth & Deborah.
