Frederick Ittel, 50, a machinist at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory dropped dead on the steps of his Iris St. apartment Sunday evening.
He was dead on arrival at the Los Alamos Medical Center. Cause of death is believed to be heart attack. An autopsy will be performed.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby. He was employed by the Laboratory Aug. 14. coming to Los Alamos from Albuquerque.
