Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Newberry 76 of Highlandville, who died Wednesday, Sept. 10 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield were held Sunday, Sept. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Wilson Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Buckmaster officiating, Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery under direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark. She was a member of the Wilson Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Fred and Homer Newberry, both of Monett, Mo.; seven daughters, Mrs. Francis Henry of Highlandville, Mrs. Lydia Lewis of Gunnison, Colo., Mrs. Opal Daugherty of Salem, Ore., Mrs. Golda Morgan of Monett, Mrs. Sylvia Crawford of Republic, Mrs. Esther Jones of California and Mrs. Alta Waterman of Sugar Creek, Mo., 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
