Mary Cora was born the daughter of Rev. John Pruitt. She first married John Wesley Nichols in Ozark, Arkansas on May 28, 1917. It was a double wedding of two brothers, John Wesley and Martin Nichols to two sisters,
Mary Cora and Virginia Pruitt. The wedding was officiated by the father of the girls, the Reverend John Pruitt. Mary had three children from this marriage Franklin, Lewis, and Imogene.
Her second marriage was to Leroy Allen who was killed while his children was very young. The child of this marriage was Margaret, Lena,
Mildred, and Robert L Allen.
Her third marriage was to Leroy J. Sheldon They had no children.
