Norwalk, Ohio Reflector- Herald.] Mrs. Harriet Wolverton, beloved wife of Arthur L. Hoover, passed peacefully into eternity Friday evening at 7 o’clock, at the family home in Avery. For many months Mrs. Hoover was been in frail health .... The family is one of the most prominent and influential in Erie and Huron counties .... Mrs. Hoover was born Harriet Wolverton, her place of nativity being Holton, Kansas, where in 1898 she was married to Arthur L. Hoover and came with him to Avery. She was one of a family of eight children, her father and mother died six years ago and five brothers and sisters survive - Miss Alice, who made her home in Avery, and William, who dwells at Lorian, being the only members of the family in this part of the country. Besides the devoted husband she leaves two little daughters, Margaret aged 14 and Mary Jane, aged five. She herself was 42 years of age last November 14 ... the Methodist church of Miliam, of which she was a devoted and consistent member. Her work in the Milian Research club .... laid to rest in the Hoover family lot at Miliam cemetery ....
.... She was born at the Wolverton homestead in Liberty township and received her education in the Holton schools. She resided here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edson Wolverton, until her marriage to Mr. Hoover.
