My cousin. Nina was born Nina Marie Sain on January 31, 1914 to James Sain and Lida Lee Laughlin in Childress, Texas. She married John R. Guthrie and had no kids. Her Brother James Amend moved her to Washington in 1997 a year after her husband John passed away. She passed away on August 8, 2005 in a retirement home in Yakima, Washington of a heart attack at the age of 91. She lived in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico for most of her life. She was survived by her Brother James Amend and wife Jean of Yakima, Washington, Nephew Billy Amend wife Becky and Niece Jan Foster and husband Steve both of Yakima, Washington, 5 Great-Nephews and Nieces and 3 Cousins, Shirley Rice and husband Joe of Spring, TX, Norma Kepple and husband Ted of El Paso, Texas, and Dorothy Harp of Camarillo, CA
