Jack Eneroth - Thornton, Washington

"Graveside service was held Saturday at the Thornton Cemetery in Thornton, Wash., for Jack F. Eneroth 89. The Neptune Society was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Eneroth who was born in McGill, Nev., died March 10. He had lived in Thornton for 51 years.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He married his wife, Gertrude, in 1945 in Peterborough, England. The couple lived in Newport, Wash., for a few years before moving to Thornton in 1950.

Mr. Eneroth held several jobs over the years. He drove trucks, operated a sawmill, worked as a mechanic, did farm work and was an independent grocer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel. Survivors include his wife Gertrude; two sons, Richard Eneroth of Dewey, Ariz., and Michael Eneroth of Thodosia, Mo.; a daughter Jeanne Ashbaugh of Evans, Wash.; a sister Florence McDonald of Lee's Summit, Mo.; a brother, Dale Eneroth of Colbert; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital or the Thornton Cemetery Association."
