Ruth Spencer Ingram, 64, of Memphis, TN, passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.
She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 5, 1953, to George and Ruthie Mills Spencer. She cared for children and was affectionately known as 'Mama Ruth'. She was a member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Ingram; and two sisters, Opal Brock and Erma Bishop.
Her memory will be carried on by her daughter, Kelley Bagwell (Joey Simon) of Collierville, TN; one step-daughter, Dana Bloomfield (Stuart) of Memphis, TN; one godson, Terry Schmitz of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Michael Bagwell, McKenzie Bagwell, Taylor Simon, Abigail Bloomfield, Noah Bloomfield and Arron Le Bleu; one nephew, Dale Brock (Sharrisse) of Walnut; one great-nephew, Brody Brock of Walnut, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church, 5530 Shady Grove Road Memphis, Tennessee and 10 a.m. till noon Wednesday at Brush Creek Baptist Church on County Road 651, Walnut, Mississippi.
Funeral services for Ruth Spencer Ingram, will be noon Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Pastors Cody Hill and Will Christians officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
