Karl was the son of John and Mary Kurinec Miklosovic. He was born in Szarazpatak and emmigated to the United States at age 2 with is brother Joseph and sister Anna and joined his father.
His sister, my husband's aunt Anna Betchie used to tell the family of his drowning by falling into the ice of a pond when they were sled riding.
He was 7 years old.
I found this tiny little grave along the fence near the playground of the old St. Michael's Catholic School. He was buried next to his father who died in 1914. It almost seems that he was put there to be close to the playground where he used to play.
