James Wilson Barrett, age 72, of Conway, Ark., passed away Saturday, Sept. 20. He was born July 24, 1936, in Kershaw, a son of the late Hade and Annie Barrett. He retired from Koolvent Awning Company in North Little Rock, Ark., served in the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bobbie York Barrett of Conway, Ark.; two sons, Ricky Barrett and wife, Karen, of Conway and Donnie Barrett of Conway; daughter, Teresa Barrett Eads and husband, Danny, of Hickory Plains, Ark.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Eugene Barrett and wife, Cherie Barrett, of Camden; one sister, Lois Ann Barrett and an extended special family member, Izetta Wright, both of Columbia; and several neices and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Glen Barrett Sr., and his wife, Barbara, of Sumter; and nephew, Michael Barrett.
