Florence Lola, 92, Jones, died Friday, Jan. 28. Born June 29, 1890 at Cedar Springs, MO. She came to Oakwood, OK with her parents in 1893. She was one of a family of 8, 4 girls and 4 boys. She was married to John B. Steward June 29, 1913. They lived in Weatherford until 1960 before moving to Leedey in Roger Mills County where they farmed and dairied. She organized a community Sunday School, 4-H Club and was a charter member of the Roger Mills Home Demonstration Club. She also taught school in Roger Mills County a few years. They moved to the Okla. City-Jones area in 1936 where they continued to operate a dairy until 1968. She stayed active in church and club activities in each community until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband in Dec. 1980 and by an infant son. Survivors: a son, John J. Steward of Edmond; daughters, Mrs. Ferne Allen of Strong City and Mrs. Ilo Walker of Jones; 4 brothers, Leslie Cline of Oakwood, Harry Cline of Hammond, Robert and Albert both of Oregon; 11 grandchildren; 21

great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
