Born February 8, 1921 i Patrick County, VA he was the son of William Hubbard and Elizabeth Smith Brown Sr. A member of Fellowship Church, he was a charter member of the Ararat Ruritan Club.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha McMillian Brown, one daughter Mrs. Douglas(Betty) Slate of King, one son Bill Brown of Ararat, Va, three sisters Mrs Max (Virginia)Quillan of Waynesboro, VA, Mrs. Joe (Irene) McCann of Salisbury and Mrs. Marvin (Ilene) East of Ridgeway, VA; three brothers Thomas E Brown of Pilot Mountain, John H. Brown of Mount Airy nd Way Brown of Chatham, Va.
