Funeral will be held Friday for Robert F. Pears,1856 French St. Ext.,Hermitage. He died at 6 a.m. Tuesday (5-5-81) in Shennango Vally Osteopathic Hospital,Farrell. He was 59.
Mr. Pears was born in Sharon Nov. 27, 1921, to Fred H. and Maude L. Custer Pears.
For 40 years he was employed at Sharon Steel Corp.,where he was a quality control foreman.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon; Lodge 517, Free and accepted Masons, Sharpsville, and New Castle Consistory.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the Army. He was a past commander of Shenango Valley Veteran of foreign wars post 1338, Sharon.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ezma Bewley,Whom he married Sept. 18, 1954; three Daughters, Mary Jo Pears, Franklin; Mrs Michael(Debra Ann) Sember, Sharon and Roberta Pears, Hollidaysburg, Pa; a sister Mrs. Paul(Marian) Brandenstein, Mercer; Three Brothers, Richard R., Tacoma Wash.;Donald C., San Benito Texas, and Howard G., Bowling Green, Ky.
