Edgar Leornce Lagman was the son of Lorence Louis Lagman and Lorina Fuller Lagman.

He married Christina Louisa Pradat on March 19, 1910. They had 7 Children: Thelma Lagman Bohach Zager 1920-2007, Edgar L Lagman, Jr 1921-2009, Henry Edward Lagman 1923-1924, Alford William Lagman 1925-2013, Lorina Lagman Cleary 1926-1971, Louis Lagman 1928 and Charles E Lagman 1930-1995.

He joined the U S Navy on March 27, 1911 and served on numerous ships in the Pacific and China during WWI as Cheif Carpenters Mate.

He was a carpenter, a member of the Carpenters Union, and self taught muscian. He was employed for Higgins Industries.

He died at the Hines Jr Memorial Vetrens Hospital in Hines, Ill of cancer.
