Howard Lupton Collins was born in Edenton, North Carolina. Howard was the 3rd child of Joseph Linton and Lucile Lupton Collins. Mr. Collins married Gene Isabella Bunch in 1941. Howard and Gene were the parents of Howard and Marian Collins (O'Neal). When WWII broke out, he enlisted in the Navy, and was assigned to the USS Hornet. Following the war, Mr. Collins moved to Le Mars, Iowa and in 1949 married Myrna Foley. They relocated to Anaheim, California and raised 6 children, John, Kay, Connie, Joanie, Craig and Ginny Collins.
