Mrs. C. E. Delmore, 79, of Rt. 3, Athens, died at the Limestone County Hospital last night at 9 o'clock and will be buried following services in Athens tomorrow.
She was the mother of the Delmore brothers, Alton Delmore and the late Rabon Delmore, who are known for radio appearances and records which they made.
She was known to many in the county as "Aunt Molly."
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Market Street Church of Christ in Athens. A. J. Rollings will officiate. Interment will be in the Athens Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joe Brown of Anniston and Mrs. Hassie Cowan of Decatur; four sons, Alton Delmore of Huntsville, Tom Delmore of Athens, J. M. Delmore and Leonard Delmore of Decatur; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
