I would like to provide you with more information on this young man who was my Great-Great-Great Uncle. Alexander of Smithville, Monroe County, Indiana. Was the son of John Lucas b. 16 July 1813 in Kentucky d. 16 June 1893 in Monroe County, Indiana and Kaziah Devar b. 27 Nov 1823 in Monroe Co, Indiana and d. 22 May 1881. Both are buried in the Lucas Cemetery in Smithville, Monroe County, Indiana.
John is the son of Solomon Lucas and Mary Grimes
Kaziah is the daughter of Jesse Devar and Martha (Patsy) Cain/Cane
Alexander had ten brothers and sisters six of whom were born after him including my great great grandfather John Bennington Lucas. If you would add this information to his site I would be grateful or if you feel you don't have the time I will gladly take over his page for you and give him the home and family he deserves and will be forever grateful to you.

Alexander is not actually buried in the Lucas Cemetery because I could find little to no personal information nor a picture of his burial plot in Georgia. What information given was confusing. Please excuse my pushy attitude but as a researcher I want the information available to others as easy and accurate as possible.
