Unity – June 23, 1950 – Mrs. Elizabeth A. Rand, 84, died Friday afternoon at her home after a long illness. She was born January 22, 1866, in Unity, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah (Sweetser) Gilpatrick.
A lifelong resident of Unity, she was a past matron of Antioch Chapter OES and a past Noble Grand of Favori Rebekah Lodge of Unity.
She is survived by her husband, Edward, and a niece, Vivian Joy,
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Unity Union Church and burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery, Unity.
