Born March 22, 1913 in Mt. Pleasant, he was the son of John W. and Pinkie Jane Burkes Bosher. He moved to Cartahge in 1976 after retiring from United Gas asa pipeline inspector. He was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Bosher; seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his brothers, Sherman and Johnny Ray Bosher, of Grand Prairie; sisters, Lucille Morris, Lorene Taylor and Lucy Williams, all of Duncanville; grandchildren, John C. Allen, of Athens, Teresa James and companion Steve Jacks, of Carthage, and Leslie Wynkoop and husband Brad, of Texarkana; great-grandchildren, Brandon James, Melissa James and Hayden James, of Carthage, Blaine Porter and Breana Wynkoop, of Texarkana; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Dorothy Love, of Joshua.
Pallbearers were Billy Morris, Kenneth Morris, John Henry Morris, John Jacks, Curtis Crawford and Wesley Prudhomme.
