At her home in Round Prairie, Friday morning, May 26, 1905, after a brief illness, Mrs. Sarah L. Mitchell, wife of Charles H. Mitchell, aged 63 years. Mrs. Mitchell, nee Quaid, had been a resident of this community for many years, being for several years a teacher. She was born in Ireland in 1842. In October, 1868, she was married to Charles H. Mitchell. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by two daughters, Anna T. and Mary M. Mitchell, both teachers of this city, one brother, D.J. Quaid, and one sister, Mrs. Kate Manley, of Alta, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the family residence in Round Prairie Sunday , May 28, at 2:30 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m. at the First Christian church, Rev. F. M. Rogers of the West Side Christian church officiating. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Pub. in Illinois State Register, 5-27-1905
