Salt Lake Tribune (UT) - May 12, 1999

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Thelma Irene Wildman, 66, passed away May 6, 1999 at a Salt Lake City Hospital.
Born January 25, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Charles Franklin and Dorothea Katherine Thornton Adamson Sr. She was a retired office manager, the job she enjoyed and did most of her life, but her biggest love was bowling. She was the past president of the SLWBA and during that time, she like many, was instrumental in bringing the 1994 National WIBC tournament to Utah. She served on the states and city board, was also the leader who brought her family and the younger generation into the sport. She was an avid bowler for over 40 years. During that time received many awards for service and was later inducted into the SLWBA Hall of Fame.
Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren, and all of her many family members which she loved very very much.
She is survived by son, Dennis (Debbie) Magna; grandchildren, April and Matt all of West Jordan; brother, Frank (Jeannie) Adamson of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters; Elma Barnes, JoAnn (Albert) Carrington of Kearns; Mary (Bruce) Hansen of Gunnison, Utah; Sharron (Nick) Deliyiannis of Camp Verde, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Richard Adamson.
She will be missed always, by her family, friends, and all the ladies that served with her on the SLWBA board.
