REIDSVILLE - Pauline Iris Griffin Sandhagen, 86, of 812 Church St., Eden, N.C. went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Morehead Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in Speedwell Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County she was a daughter of the late William Bryant "Bill'' Griffin and the late Martha Belle King and had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. She was a member of the Rockingham County Naturalist Club and was preceded in death by her husband Carl Fredrick Sandhagen of Haven, KS and three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna S. Cook and husband Claud of Wentworth, N.C. and Carlene "Sandy'' Sandhagen Connally of Eden, N.C.; three grandchildren, Brian Cook, Susan Cook-Khan and Michelle Sakuta Shannon; five great-grandchildren: Donna Nichole Khan, Michael Shannon, Tomothy Shannon, Jonathon Shannon and Amanda Carter.
The family will see friends at the home of her daughter, Donna Cook, 203 Sunset View, Reidsville, N.C. following the service.
Citty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
