Albert Thomas Adams, 92 years old, passed away at 3:30 o'clock last Thursday afternoon at the residence three miles east of Rosedale. Mr. Adams was born June 21, 1850 in Jessup, Parke County, Indiana to William C. Adams and Mary (Sale) Adams. He was a farmer by occupation and lived his entire life in Parke County. Surviving are three sons; Harry and Jesse Adams of Rosedale and Charles Adams of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mooter of Sandford, Mrs. Dolly Staggs of Tangier and Mrs. Della Thorpe of Oklahoma, and several grandchild, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Victor Lawrence Adams and two daughters, Essie Grace Adams and Mary Magdeline Adams. Last rites were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Friendly Grove Baptist church, with the Rev. Raymond Rissler in charge. Burial was in Adams Cemetery, Forks of the Creek.
