Services were held in the Bouton-Hammitt Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Spencer officiated and burial in Princeville Cemetery.
Surviving is one niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Cronin of Fairfax, Va.
Mrs. James was a resident of Princeville for forty years and made her home with her sisters, Mrs. Cora Nixon and Mrs. Lydia Ferbrache on Town Avenue.
She sold the home a few years ago and has made her home in Leisure Hills Health Center in Kewanee the past two years.
Mrs. James was born in Wymore, Neb., July 20, 1881, the daughter of Enos and Elvira Beach Frost. Her father was a famous Civil Was veteran, an interested and active participant in patriotic affairs until his death.
