Rites Saturday For Retired Railroader

Graveside services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in West Hill Cemetery here for W. O. Dodd, retired general chairman of the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors and Trainmen, who died Wednesday in a Tulsa, Okla. hospital.

Rev. A. W. Blaine, pastor of North Park Baptist Church, and Rev. George W. Hill, pastor of Twin City Baptist Church, will conduct the services.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday in Tulsa.

Mr. Dodd had been a Frisco Railroad employee. He formerly lived in Sherman and was a member of the North Park Baptist Church. In 1929 he married Mrs. Florence Jones here. They moved to Tulsa in 1949.

Survivors besides his wife are two sons, Bill Dodd Jr. of Abilene and Bryon Dodd of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. A.L. Peacock of Arlington; a step-son, Roy D. Jones of Sherman; a brother, Hulen Dodd of Kansas City, Kan.; and several grandchildren.

Dodd Service Sunday In Sherman Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in West Hill Cemetery here for W. 0. Dodd, formerly of Sherman, who died Wednesday in a Tulsa, Okla., hospital. Rev. A. W. Blaine, pastor of North Park Baptist Church will conduct the services.

The services were erroneously announced for Saturday in the Friday issue of the
Sherman Democrat.

Mr. Dodd was a retired Frisco Railroad worker, and had been general chairman of the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors and Brakemen.
