Ex-Barber, Dies - Clyde Adams, Sr., 78, of 109 West Luther Pl, died Saturday at People's Hospital after an extended illness. Born on 1 April 1891, at Amoy, Ohio, he had lived in Mansfield and operated a barber shop on Bowman St for many years. He was a World War I veteran who served in the US Navy. Surviving besides a son, Clyde Adams Jr., are a grandson, Michael Lee Adams, and a nephew, Lester Adams of Warren. Services will be held at the Wappner Funeral Home, Tuesday at 2:30 pm with Rev Robert Haskins, pastor of the Mayflower United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
