Mrs. Elsie Blanche Bahret, 94, Holton, died Friday, Feb. 14, at a Holton nursing home. Mrs. Bahret owned and operated the Modern Beauty Shop in Holton for 23 years. She was born Dec. 2, 1891 at Garnett, the daughter of John and Kathryn Adams Alban. She lived in Holton since 1916. Mrs. Bahret attended the first Christian Church in Holton. She was married to William Whitty in 1916. He died in 1950. She was married to Roland Bahret Jan. 7, 1956, at Holton. He died Oct. 15, 1976. Survivors include a son, Bill Whitty, Holton; a brother, Loren Alban, Leadville, Colo.; a grandson; and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Holton cemetery.
