Ed R. Bailey, 42, of 2534 Virginia avenue, died Friday night in a Concordia hospital after an operation. He became ill Thursday night at Burr Oak and was taken to the hospital. He formerly lived near Holton but had been a salesman for the Reed Coffee Co. of Topeka 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Burwell Bailey, of the home address; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Holton.
