Services for Doris L. (Donaldson) Gann, 73, of Alliance were held Monday, Dec. 1, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Louisville, Ohio. Interment will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 in the Kilgore City Cemetery, where she will be buried next to her devoted mother, Sadie B. McClanahan.
Surrounded by her family, Mrs. Gann passed away Nov. 29 after a brave battle against cancer.
She was born Feb. 18, 1930 in Durango, Colo. Mrs. Gann spent most of her life in Texas and the Louisville/Alliance, Ohio, area. She enjoyed sewing, artwork, gardening and homemaking. Mrs. Gann most loved taking care of her beloved husband and children.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, W. Ira; three sons, Bill, Ed and Rob; two daughters-in-law; three grandchildren and their families.
The Gann family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Red Cross in lieu of flowers.

Surrounded by her family, Doris L. ( Donaldson ) Gann, age 73, of Alliance, passed away November 29, 2003, after a brave battle against cancer.
Born near Durango, Co., February 19, 1930, Mrs Gann spent most of her life in Texas and the Louisville / Alliance, Ohio area.
Survived by her loving husband of 55 years, W. Ira Gann, her three sons, Bill , Ed, and Rob ; two daughters-in-law, three grandchildren and their famlies.
Enjoying sewing, artwork, gardening and homemaking. Mrs. Gann loved most taking care of her husband and children.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1910 Monter Avenue in Louisville on Monday, December 1, 2003, from 4-5 with services following immediately. Reverend Ken Pugh will officiatate.
Mrs. Gann's earthly remains will be interred in the Kilgore ( Texas ) City Cemetery next to her devoted mother, Mrs. Sadie B. McClanahan.
Her soul has already gone to be with the Lord. The Gann family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
