Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
J.C. was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Covington to Johnnie and Ruthie Medford Rager. He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and an expeditor-supervisor at General Dynamics-Lockheed Martin for 47 years. He married Patsy Jean Lott Feb. 22, 1960, in Weatherford. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Pat Rager; children, Shelly J. Rager and John E. Rager; brother, Robert Rager; sisters, Anette Howard and Frankie Lahr; grandchildren, Jonathan Rager, Greg and Cari Copeland and Kristy Copeland; great-grandson, Roper Copeland.
